These observations show that reduced spinach ferredoxin possesses an electron paramagnetic resonance spectrum qualitatively similar to that observed in many other non-heme iron proteins. We would thus like to suggest that there is no fundamental difference between the ferredoxins and the so called g = 1.94 iron proteins.
