Deoxyribonucleic acid polymerase from Micrococcus lysodeikticus has been purified 1500-fold as measured by the polymerization primed by the alternating copolymer d(A-T). The properties of the enzyme do not differ significantly from those of other bacterial DNA polymerases previously described.
