The Partial Purification of Thiamine Triphosphatase from Rat Brain

Thiamine triphosphatase has been partially purified from rat brain and some of its properties have been determined. The enzyme is localized primarily in the soluble fraction of the cell, has an absolute specificity among thiamine phosphate esters for thiamine triphosphate, and is inhibited by calcium.
