About the Cover

Cover Figure

The cover shows the Dead Sea in summer. Cross-talk between chemical and molecular chaperones during salt and heat stresses. Salt stress induces osmolyte accumulation that protects native proteins from heat aggregation and activates molecular chaperones. Heat shock induces accumulation of molecular chaperones that prevent protein aggregation and solubilize protein aggregates. For details, see the article by Diamant et al., pages 39586-39591.39586.
