The cover figure shows a confocal fluorescence microscopy image of mouse pancreatic acinar cells infected with adenoviral vector encoding monomeric G protein, Rab3D (HA-tagged, red), and green fluorescent protein (GFP, green). Fluorescence is merged with the corresponding bright field Nomarski image. GFP is distributed throughout the acinar cells, whereas Rab3D is targeted primarily to secretory granules in the apical cytoplasm. For details see the article by Chen et al., pages 18002-18009.
