On The Cover: The cover shows triacylglycerol accumulation in yeast lipid particles. The photograph was produced by merging the differential interference contrast image of yeast cells with the fluorescence image of lipid particles stained with Nile Red (kindly provided by Sepp D. Kohlwein, University of Graz). Mg2+-dependent phosphatidate phosphatase controls the de novo synthesis of triacylglycerol and phospholipids. For details see the article by Han et al., pages 9210–9218.
