On The Cover: Transactivation by Twist1 is believed to be important in systems as different as cancer and skeletal development. Here Twist1 expression is visualized in the sutures of the skull by β-galactosidase staining of an adult mouse in which the coding region of one Twist1 allele was replaced by the bacterial lacZ gene (K.
