On The Cover: The crystal structure of the 270-kDa dodecameric PII·N-acetylglutamate kinase complex from Arabidopsis thaliana reveals how two trimers of PII (red) regulate the activity of the N-acetylglutamate kinase hexamer (yellow and green). This structure also reveals interactions with the allosteric effectors ATP and arginine, as well as the substrate N-acetylglutamate and product ADP. For details see the article by Mizuno et al., pages 35733–35740.
