Cited in Scopus: 0Many medical education studies in neonatology have tried to identify and address learners’ needs for delivery room education.1–3 A survey of Canadian pediatric residency graduates4 showed that a minority self-reported competency in neonatal procedures and resuscitation. Although certain studies sought to enhance resident education by utilizing fellows as teachers5 or by using simulation,4–8 there have been few studies on fellows teaching residents using simulation. Hansen et al9 concluded that formal resident education should involve residents on night float as well as those present during the daytime hours.
