On The Cover: The first crystal structure of a HIPK kinase reveals a unique conformation of the
CMGC insert region in HIPK2 and features an inhibitor in the kinase active site. The
structure, which also captures a regulatory phosphorylation site, provides a platform
for future design of HIPK2-specific therapeutics for treatments of cancer and fibrosis.
