On The Cover: Antigen-binding fragment (Fab) of an antibody depicted as a sphere model (cyan) is engineered to bind two structurally unrelated angiogenic factors, vascular endothelial
growth factor (orange) and angiopoietin 2 (pink). This dual action Fab achieved sub-nanomolar affinity for both antigens, a feat
enabled by deep mutational scanning, which measured the effect of all possible mutations
