On The Cover: Immunohistochemical staining of a pancreatic tissue section from a non-obese type
1 diabetic (NOD) mouse with moderate hyperglycemia (280 mg/dl). Cytokines secreted
by infiltrating lymphocytes induce mixed lineage kinase-3 (MLK3) in the endocrine
